Over the course of the year we hold Holiday Fun Camps:
Join York City Football Club for lots of Football Fun in the School Holidays, at various venues across York, Ryedale and surrounding areas.
For boys and girls aged 5-14 years. Our Football Fun Camps offer a quality football experience with a specially developed coaching programme to help young players learn new football skills
through fun and enjoyment, from 10.00am to 3.00pm each day.
York City’s Fun Camp coaching programme focuses on: ball control, shielding, dribbling and turning with the ball, passing techniques, movement off the ball, team formation,
attacking the goal and the scoring principals, and defending. To complete the whole picture – the chance to practice newly learned skills with a mini World Cup tournament each day.
On completion of the full course the players will receive: a certificate presented by a York City player and a York City gift bag including a free York City match ticket.
Our Football Fun Camps are fully supervised by our team of FA qualified community coaches, who are all CRB checked.
Please ensure players wear suitable sports clothing and footwear, bring suncream and water proofs as necessary, and a packed lunch each day.
